LOTOS 1470nm 15W laser

The Lotos vascular laser is a small device with a power of 15W and a wavelength of 1470 nm. Thanks to its extensive equipment, it can be used for both endovascular procedures (EVLT/EVLA) and treatment of hemorrhoids or laser lipolysis. Convenient operation via a touchscreen display makes the laser extremely easy to use. For repeated treatments, there is no need to set the working parameters each time, as the laser has the ability to store 20 working programs.

The laser’s low weight, compact size and dedicated carrying case make it ideal for use in a variety of locations.

Course of the EVLT procedure

– placement of the fiber 1 to 2 cm from the femoral vein outlet, with ultrasound guidance
– Vein before anesthesia (small circle – laser fiber, large circle – vein wall)
– Vein after anesthesia: the vein is compressed by the anesthetic fluid, the surrounding tissues are protected from the influence of heat (small circle – the fiber and the vein shrunk around it, large – tumescent fluid)
– Retraction of the fiber with simultaneous emission of energy: the vein shrinks, leading to its closure along its entire length
